Pediatric constipation has a substantial impact on patients and their families. My Kid's Tummy is a pediatric constipation clinic focused on children aged 6 months to 17 years who have been struggling with constipation. Our goal is to provide timely access to an assessment so that an individualized treatment plan can be established. If a significant disease is discovered, we provided referrals to a variety of specialists for long-term management. Our clinic utilizes the expertise of Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Pediatricians in order to put our patients first and provide timely access to high-quality care.
We accept referrals from nurse practitioners, family physicians, midwives, and pediatricians.
If you would like your child assessed by our clinic, please ask your primary care provider to send us a referral. We only accept referrals from OHIP registered care providers.

Who Do We See
We accept referrals for,
Children 6 months to 17 years old
Constipation
Abdominal pain (likely related to constipation)
Encopresis (fecal incontinence or soiling)
Difficulty passing stool, painful, large or infrequent stools.
Previously failed treatments for constipation
Must have a valid Ontario Health Card (OHIP)

The longer constipation continues, the more difficult it is to treat. As a focused specialty clinic, we try to see all our patients within 2-3 months of receiving a referral.
